If you find that your laptops clock is suddenly off by an hour or so this has most likely occured due to daylight savings.
Below are the steps you can take to fix this:
- Click on your Windows button or use your search bar on the taskbar to open up Control Panel.
- After you've got Control Panel open you will just need to navigate to Clock and Region.
- Then click Date and Time, this will open up a new small window.
- In the new window navigate to the Internet Time tab at the top.
- Then click Change settings...as shown below.
- After clicking this a new window will open asking for the administrator passoword, we've put a bypass on this action so it should automatically fill in the details then close.
- In the new window that opens up ensure the check box is ticked and set the Server as time.windows.com then click Update Now.
Following that your clock should be back to the correct time.
